Chances of Thievery at 930 this summer?

So they're working on a new album, Op Ceasefire is not happening, and they're playing that Virgin Fest in Bmore which IMP/930 is putting on.  Yet I still hope to see them in the District.
 
 Anybody heard anything that would get my hopes up or crush my dreams???

Does the club have anyone booked for 9/22? Would be nice to see them then but I'm not holding my breath. I may go up for one of the NYC shows (9/24-25) if they don't play the club. Oh tickets to those shows go on sale saturday btw.

they are playing in ny? when was that announced? there is nothing on their website.
 
 i would think that they would be booked at some point this month or next month for the 930.
 
 regardless, i'm damn excited to see them friday night in chicago!

Yep, Sound Tribe Sector 9 is playing on 9/22.

Yeah I noticed right after I posted that. They play a similar brand of downtempo but are nowhere near as diverse as thievery corp. Still, they're worth seeing if nothing else is going on.

Ask Seth about Thievery Corp in the Hey Seth thread. He shouldn't have trouble booking them considering he manages them.
