the crowded future stings my eyes
i still find time to exercise
in a uniform with two whites stripes...
another tanker's hit the rocks
abandoned to spill out its guts
the sand is laced with sticky globs
on my beach at night,
bathe in the moonlight

i haven't listened to the song in 20+ years but it came right back to me.  probably my favorite DK song.

did they play it at the recent shows?  that alone would have justified the price of admission.

Show was simply awesome.  I can imagine this is the band the Dead Kennedys would've sounded like if they were still together today.  The new songs sounded great and I thought the band sounded tight all night.  Mosh pit went off for all the DK songs that were pulled out including California Uber Alles (Schwrzenggar version), HOliday in Cambodia, Lets Lynch the Landlord, Bleed for Me, and Moon over Marin .  I was shocked to hear Moon Over Marin.  Simply beautiful.  Jello was insane.  At my count he stagedived 4 times. The number of frontmen I've seen over the years bring that type of theatrical performance and energy on stage starts will Jello and includes Lux Interior, Iggy, and maybe a few others.  To top if off the opening bands Sick Weapons and Kominas both killed it.  Still on a buzz from last night.   8)
