"Cold Roses" and "Jacksonville City Nights" are my two favorites. Whiskeytown is ok.

can you really separate Ryan Adams solo from the Cardinals? I mean, he's the chief songwriter. The Cardinals are just a backing band.

I don't disagree there.

Joe, I'm just pointing out that this albums with the Cardinals are better than his solo albums. Don't know why...but it's true.

maybe overall, but this album is still his best:
