jack rose added to the bill! IMO, the best acoustic fingerpicker in the states right now, if not the world. he's played my house four times...gonna be strange to see him up on that big stage.

Boy do I love Jack Rose.  Fuck Mogwai!

He was/is in Pelt.  Think John Fahey, but less song-oriented and more influenced by Eastern musics.  I just saw him in C'ville at the UVA Chapel, and there might've been 10 people there...?

or think the john fahey of fare forward voyagers or america.

jack is still in pelt. his merging of raga, drone, delta blues, ragtime, and appalachia will blow your mind.

Mogwai on the 10th, Pelican on the 11th, it's a post-rock extravaganza!

Hehe, I'm going to both. Guess I'm stuck in the past.

Just don't forget your earplugs.  Loudest show I've ever heard.
