Pc Rachelle Pantoja posed in the magazine Zoo
A policewoman has quit the force after she sparked controversy by stripping off her uniform for a men's magazine.
Pc Rachelle Pantoja, 27, from Sale, was being investigated by Greater Manchester Police's Internal Affairs Unit after posing in Zoo magazine.
She was put on restrictive duties and transferred from GMP's Trafford section to the traffic division.
A spokesman for the force said it had received official notification from Ms Pantoja of her intention to resign.
Ms Pantoja, who has been with the force for four years, had answered an advert in the magazine asking for people who work in uniform to appear in a photo shoot.
She was quoted in the magazine as saying: "I don't care what my bosses say.
"Nobody in the force knows about my modelling past, so this is my dark, dirty secret."
