Ticketmaster push notifications: a digital history
« on: March 07, 2025, 09:37:54 am »
Ticketmaster has, roughly speaking, 15 years of data on my ticket purchasing behavior.  This data is then run through the most sophisticated super computers and advanced AI algorithms to precisely pinpoint exactly the kind of shows I'm excited to see.

Australian guitarist and (apparently) Kentucky Colonel Tommy Emmanuel

To be fair to The Algorithm, I do like her, though I'm not sure I've ever seen her stand-up (just appearances on sketch shows, etc.).  But I also don't think I've purchased any tickets to see live comedy from Ticketmaster.  I'll give partial credit.
