this was a hell of a show. ears are ringing quite a bit today, but wow. never thought id get to see the whigs, and they blew me away. dulli's an amazing frontman, which made up for his vocals being a bit quiet up front. it was really cool to hear all the bits and pieces of other songs he'd do. always thought these guys could knock out covers like no one else.
setlist ive got. might have missed a song or two
crime scene part 1
im her slave
uptown again
what jail is like
who do you love/fountain and fairfax
when we two parted
gentleman
66
turn on the water/the end
you my flower
retarded
see and dont see
love crimes/thinkin bout you
going to town
debonair
cito soleil
miles iz ded
bulletproof
summer's kiss
sometimes it snows in april/faded/purple rain
encore alone was worth the price of admission for me. i knew faded was an all or nothing deal with those other two songs, and im so glad they ended the show with that run. beautiful stuff
i dont know if this will be a permanent reunion or not, but this was a great evening of music. thanks seth!
