That second listing is messed up. Sounds like they are squatting in someone's basement and stealing their phone and internet. Who would advertise free rooming on a sofa as long as you enjoy hard living ie dung encrusted housing??? And whats with the plug for cheap calls to russia? I'm kinda tempted to check the place out just to see what the deal is.

If you like some or all of the bands that came from that scene, then you'll like the background info.

Sounds like a crash pad. Or like they took over some old abandoned embassy that's been stripped of it's finery but the country it had been home to is still paying the bills.

It also looks like a sucker deal where you get to stay if you work for some cause while crashing there.

The details look very Nordic in nature. Maybe it's a 'save the polar bears' kind of cause home base.

Or maybe the Russian ambassador was called home for an extended period of time and left his kid to mind the fort only for some wild, weird extended, rip roaring, tear the embassy apart adventure. The kid has run out of it's trust fund or has been cut off except for communications so that the parents can keep in touch with him/her. After they sold all of the valuables to keep the party going, they had to resort to roommates to keep the party and other household expenses up.
