OPUS 1 @ Merriweather
« on: October 08, 2017, 09:25:46 am »
Anyone else check this out?  Art installations and music.  Some of the art installations looked cool, but was unable to experience since you had to stand in line for everything - looked to be over an hour for many things.  Seem pretty crazy to me - when creating installations for large masses, many should be able to experience without waiting in line (burning man art for example).

Anyway, I had no idea bands were playing this and was pleasantly surprised by the lineup! I was able to catch Sun Ra Arkestra, Bing and Ruth, Gang Gang Dance, and Exo Tech (they blew me away...improv group made up of touring musicians from many different bands - http://sophiabrous.com/portfolio_page/exo-tech/)  So props to whoever curated the music portion.

Goddammit.

I thought the thread title meant they were now serving Opus One @ Merriweather and I was about to give Seth a big ol' kiss.
