Epic first live concerts post covid vaccine

LCD Soundsystem would be fun!

Am in the mood for some Flaming Lips!

Roisin Murphy would be a great dance- almost ecstatic -show...Jessie Ware too

I would be into the Strokes except huge arenas...no!

I think once concerts are back people are going to mood for party shows not slit your wrists shows but what do I know?

I always say this but am hoping to check out more younger acts...

And definitely more shows...going to make up for lost time

Funnily enough was talking to my significant other and I don’t think she has missed shows much...all kinds of people out there

Anything you guys are looking forward to?

My wife has made me promise the first reasonably close Flaming Lips shows once vaccines are out is happening. The Director did the same for LCD SS.

I think I'm probably done with live music.

To be fair, there is a pretty good chance you were going to be at this point soon anyway.

I mean, and no disrespect to those who have missed it, I haven't really thought about live music at all in the last 8+ months. Back and ear problems only make live music less appealing. Maybe there will be a show that captures my interest. It definitely won't be a show where i have to stand in a large crowd for hours.

Makes sense, Space. I can relate to not wanting to stand elbow to elbow for 2 hours in a big indoor venue. I’ve never done GA for Anthem, only seats.

That being said I really look forward to seeing a show. Preferably at Ottobar or something like that.

And I’d love to get back to Merriweather. Haven’t been there in years.

Not sure I’d want to see Fugazi reunite. Doesn’t seem right.

930 is very good about if you call their box office and say you have a back issue, they will reserve you a stool upstairs. Had some feet issues a few years back.

I am so glad that I went to all of the shows that I did. Over 300 since Jan 2016. I cannot imagine going to shows at that pace ever again. Age, health, fatigue, $ all will contribute to my demise as a show-goer.

in the near term, however, fuck it: Fall 2021/Spring 2022 is gonna have me at bar shows, arena shows, festivals in the mud, plane trips to signature venues....and merch as far as the eye can see....
