"Get Down Tonight" on Don Kirschner's Rock Concert, 1977. Much faster and louder (especially the bass) than the single. KC, the singers and the horn section do a line dance routine in the middle that allows the rhythm section to take over. It's not mere disco, it's Party Evangelism. I wish a Mountain Goats song had come on at the Fresh Mart and I had remarked to Wurster  "Hey there's a band in need of a drummer upgrade, " but it was 1997 and I don't know if they even existed at that point.

Yup. I know he's respected and all, but I've always hated his voice, just him or with band. Ironically or maybe not ironically, I always felt the same about Mac from Superchunk. But both did quite alright without my support.
