Pitt is a very good, tough, well coached team.  But they beat the Hoyas in the classic 'trap' game scenario - road Monday night game following a Saturday afternoon game.  The Hoyas can neutralize Pitt's strengths and with the spark they've shown so far in the Garden, the Hoyas are cutting down the nets.

I dunno....it's kinda hard to root against a team whose mascot is the anteater.

apparently, fullerton made elite 8 in 78.  also, lunardi changed his bracketology. . .will wait for the selection show to see if baylor and fullerton are in the same region.

ESPN has AU facing Memphis in their first round game.  Good luck with that.

just happy to be invited, although it would be a dream to see AU play Kansas and pull the upset

great atmosphere in MSG all week, the big east tourney is one of my favorite sporting events to attend

it was a tough game at the garden, but pitt was clearly the better team on saturday ... they really should have blown us out by 20 points if they had just made some free throws, we couldn't buy a bucket or a rebound in the 2nd half ... pitt just wanted it more, hopefully it will be a slap in the face for the NCAAs

by the way, i see pitt being similar to syracuse a couple of years ago and losing in the first or second round of the NCAAs after making a huge run through the BET ... the BET was their tournament this year, and i think they're going to be spent
