DragonForce & Tool
« on: August 21, 2006, 11:49:00 pm »
I am attempting to see both of these bands in the same night.  i need help with any info that will help me do this.

i know all that remains and horse are opening for dragonforce, and it says that show starts at 6, so the first band will go on at 6:30 or 7, and the second band will go on at 7:15 or 7:45, so dragonforce should be on by 8:30-9 right?

Tool show starts at 8 with Isis opening, so Tool shouldnt go on until 10 or so, so i should be able to catch at least 1 hour of DragonForce.

does this sound feasible.  any info will help.  thanks.

i think trying to catch enough of both shows to make the cost worthwhile, including time spent traveling between the 930 club and the verizon center is unfeasible.  granted, i don't live in DC, but i think that's a lot of wishful thinking you're doing.  if you really wanted to do this, however, i'd do it the opposite: go see isis until about 8:30 or 9, THEN come see dragonforce.  what an evening.

Verizon Center is all of about 5 minutes from the club.

your plan is not feasible so i say just go to tool. they don't tour much and put on a great show.

It's easily feasible. Just leave about midway or three fourths through D-FORCE!

they're doing a solo show at ottobar on sept. 27 which will be much better than wasting all that money to see them with tool at verizon
