has anyone heard anything about this band?

  they dont sound too bad...kinda slow but that guy from Bus Stop is in it.

Yes.
 Snuzz from Bus Stop and Ben Folds' touring band
 Robert Sledge from Ben Folds Five and
 Django Haskins from.... Django Haskins.
 
 Pretty good poppy stuff.  Next Thursday in Fredneck Maryland and then in Baltimore and then Arlington.
