Hi. I'm the notebook girl from the Interpol concert. You'll be able to read my review of the concert at  The Hoya Guide website this Friday. Enjoy.

I was actually quite nice to Elefant.

I only caught the last couple of songs and they didn't really grab my attention.  Not bad, but nothing special.

I actually really enjoyed The Occasion. I thought their sound was more creative than Elefant (who I found fun and entertaining but not especially new/fresh). The Occasion singers had very good voices and the tape looping was pretty intriguing when combined with the guitars. Plus organs are just plain cool.

And I guess I haven't commented on Interpol's set. Loved it, but then I'm biased because they are one of my favorite bands. The new stuff is particularly exciting. I was right in front on the rail and that spot is great because it's really just you and the band.

His parting shot to the crowd was:

"That's fine.....Go ahead and boo me.  You all have to work in cubicles and don't get to play Interpol on the radio." [/b]
Well, he's almost right.  We get to work in cubicles or offices making more money than he does and listening to interpol on KEXP or WOXY.....
   :p

Pardon my ignorance, but does he even play Interpol on the radio?

apparently, yes.   Obstacle 1 was all over HFS in the summer per my HFS friends.

You neglected to point out that the keyboard player is one of the creepiest looking mofos ever.

They would have edited it out. They didn't even publish my review of http://www.wingmusic.co.nz or http://www.happytreefriends.com because they thought it was too offensive. The first site, understandable. The second site, well, I don't understand it really.

I found this picture of Diego, the singer from Elefant, and I felt that this sums up his entire performance completely.

He's incredibly good looking. Not in this picture though.
