If you're ever in Baltimore , make sure you visit Hanlon Park! Its a 100 acre park nestled in Northwest Baltimore city. Softball fields, tennis courts and playgrounds, lined with trees and birds. just off the Gwynns Falls Parkway and a syringes toss from the historic Mondawmin Mall and conveniently located right on the ONLY Metro line in Baltimore city.

Look at the events happening in Hanlon Park just this week:

Baltimore, MD. (WJZ) Animal control officials in Baltimore are searching for whoever is behind an upsetting case of animal cruelty in Northwest Baltimore.

That's after they found a dead pit bull hanging by a choke chain inside Hanlon Park.

It's leash had been tied to a large rock.

The animal was found after an anonymous caller tipped off Eyewitness News late Friday night.

Investigators believe the pit bull had been there for several hours.

Animal Control officials say they are offering a $1,500 reward for information in the case of a dog found hanging by a chain.

Under Maryland law, animal cruelty is considered a felony and is punishable by up to three years in jail or a $5,000 fine.

Mondawmin Mall...Grew up in Randallstown in the early 70s.  It amazes me to see that mall now, we used to go there as kids.
