Anyone skip the overhyped MGMT show and go to Extra Gold
« on: July 29, 2008, 01:05:00 pm »
If you didn't, you should've!!

That was one of the best shows I've attended in a LONG TIME.

So nice to be in a room where people actually moved a muscle during the show rather than standing there like pretentious hipsters.

 Great times!

I did neither.

Did it end up selling out?

Doubtful??

The backstage probably had 100 or so people in there. Any idea on how many people it holds?

 Those guys absolutely rocked though.

Damn...another band whose size I over-estimated. I think backstage holds around 250-300?

 Shoulda went.

it was a very good show. definitely not sold out, but pretty crowded, although it thinned out a bunch during the set. i think lots of people were still on "birchmere time."
