THE GUATEMALAN HANDSHAKE . From July 2nd until August 1st, his or her days will often begin at the crack of dawn and extend late into the evening. He or she will be working six days a week, exposed to the elements, battling swarms of gnats, giant man-eating cicadas, and?well, you get the picture. But it??ll be well worth it.
One of the most unique aspects of this film is that much of the financing has come from grassroots fundraising. Coworkers, family members, film lovers, and friends--people like you--have come forward to support the production by attending fundraisers, buying t-shirts, posters and DVDs, and making generous donations to the film fund. Now, with a month left before the cameras start rolling, we??re making the final push and we need your help.
We still have about $10,000 to raise before June 18th. It??s a big, scary number, but it??s by no means impossible. Please help us make this goal a reality by making a donation today.
