4500 for basketball, so add the floor capacity and take out beihnd the stage (if they close that off).  I'd guess 3500-4000.

Bender Arena website says 6000 for concerts.  Never been to a show there.  Can't imagine this selling out, but you never know.

yes Bender is the gym on AU's campus. Holds about 5000, with bleachers set up on each side and large open floor in the center in front of the stage, which allows for gathering near the stage a la the 930 or for lurking in the back with more room to move around and dance, if you're so inclined.  It's an OK place for a show, not great.  The sound bounces all over the place. Shame, though, that with all the fees it'll cost $47, even with the two decent headliners.  They should've just held off on this tour til next summer and played Merriweather.  Which is probably what will happen anyway.

Crappy venue.  Worse sound.  Even worse staff.  Would not go back to any show there again.

Saw Girls Against Boys there with Garbage. The crowd, since many students get in free, is kinda annoying. Did not think the sound was too bad but then again, I was wearing earplugs and knew all the songs by heart.
