that I get, still not getting the Ch Ch reference unless its buried in one of those urb v burb lovefests that we get into on a regular basis

Someone posted earlier that he's playing with the Oranges Band, but Pitchfork doesn't indicate that's the case for the 9:30 show.  There's a mysterious "$" in their listing that doesn't correspond  to anything.

According to the Lookout! website, he's playing with Mary Timony.

I feel like I've seen Mary Timony about a dozen times.  Yet, I can never remember what she sounds like.

 oranges band would have been a good opener, they have some great songs

Hey, there are only a few real cool hipsters here, the rest of us are suburb-living, SUV driving, trash music lovin' losers...with just enuf  cash to buy 930 Club tickets to shows WE like and which seem to consistently be sold-out (probably to other big losers like us!)

dammit, gonna be out of town that weekend. ah well, nice to see he's grown up to 930
