What's 930 like?

Hey!  Never been to the club before.  How big is it? Is it important to get there early to get a good spot to see the bands?

It holds maybe 1000 people or so.  The earlier you get there, the better your spot will be.  There's really not a bad spot in the house though.

why, it's the greatest nightclub in the entire world

I would suggest that you buy a ticket to each and every show to get started

I wish Primus were playing at the 9:30 Club, instead i have to go to the crappy Constitution Hall.......Oh well, maybe next time. I guess for now its just Fountains of Wayne and Liz Phair shows.

I still find it disturbing that all of the bathrooms have glass walls so that the entire crowd watches you pee.

How did the tradition start of having to tell the ID check person that they're "a f-ing a-hole" before they will let you in the club?
You would think most newbies would know about it by now.

looks like a lot of people agree with you - ticket sales are horrible here, whereas the rest of the tour is selling out everywhere

930 is the best...i get there hour and a half to an hour early for a front spot....but it depends on the band and the time...
