Doesn't your mom have mental problems?

 Are they genetic?

Better than that rap & hip hop shit her friends listen to.

What's wrong with ska?? Specials are still one of my favourite bands of all time.

ska sucks.  but yeah it is better than, say, top 40 my 14yo sis listens to.  my sister used to throw temper tantrums when I used to listen to Coldplay years back, but now that they're on major rotation on the radio, she went out and bought their disks.  I still find that utterly hilarious, especially now that I don't like them so much anymore.  maybe my sister should go with your kid.  :p

The Planet Smashers are excellent.  Mustard Plug isn't bad either.

Nope.

She's a little more mentally feeble than she used to be, but I don't think that's too rare for someone in their mid-60's.

I work with a brilliant statistician who I'd guess to be in his 60's, and he makes little mental mistakes all the time that he probably didn't make when younger.

So that sob story you told a while back about your mother having mental problems and not being able to get a decent job with health coverage or being able to afford the health costs on her own, that was all bullshit?

My mom is doing well. Her health has improved, and she just got a job as a hall monitor/security person in a high school. My mom, the 5'1" 64 year old enforcer, armed with walkie-talkie, walking the halls eight hours a day, and ready for action. Full time, with full benefits. Thanks for caring about her!

Sometimes you disgust me, I'm just grateful you didn't finish that sentence.
