don't know what it is, but i just bought a ticket to go see them in oct.  i had sworn off shows for a while.  been listening to these guys non stop lately.  haven't been this "into" a band since the days of flaming lips and polyphonic spree.  can't stop thinking about how fricking awesome it is going to be.  hope to meet other forumers at the show so we can jump around like house of pain.  nametags, anyone? feel giddy like fiddy being elected to a pimp and ho committee.  could go on, but will inner channel the rest of my glee.

They put on a pretty fun show. Skipped them last time because I figured the show would be heavier on Made in the Dark material which I didn't like too much but will probably go this time since the opener (Growing) is a band I really like.

Hot Chip do indeed put on a great show.  They played a nice mix of The Warning and Made in the Dark, and beautifully segued from "No Fit State" into New Order's "Temptation" (during the encore, I think.)

Ill definitely be there.  I sold my tickets to the last show to catch Spoon/Walkmen/White Rabbits, and am glad HC are doing another go around.

They've always mixed Crap Kraft Dinner or Beach Party into the sets. They did Playboy at the NYC show in February!
