do you remember farrells...  they were an ice cream chain that had a pig trough dish and a 15 scoop sundae.  if i remember correctly they posted your name on the wall if you finished the pig trough by yourself.

being one of them yankees and new to chicken fried steak i had no idea that bob & edith's brown gravy was a sacrilege. admittly i liked it with the brown gravy   :roll:  
 
 frank's diner in jessup has a chicken fried steak with white gravy that kosmette recalls as being good.
