ahh, ok, lemme tell ya
get there around 6pm (i figure we'd see all the bands for a change)
1st band - No Address. no good. well, the were really ugly little twerps with a chubby lead singer. It was hot, they wanted to be Puddle Of Mudd. i think they have a song on the radio, cause everyone sang along to 1 song.
Breaking Benjamin - they are pretty damn popular and the crowd loved em. vEry LOUD they were, a lot of vibration in the head. but they were the least enjoyable of the four bands.
Staind - i loved staind when they first came out. it was my rock phase i suppose, but I've seen em 9 times (none in the past 4 years) and they are quite the band now. very talented guys, immensely popular and i remember seeing them at the Recher Theatre and there was like 100 people there. but not my thing anymore, that So Far Away song is good.
3 Doors Down - they put on one hell of a show. very very energetic, a lot of screens to watch (though some i think were just playing their videos). a huge stage with all these gears and what not set up. a very good light show, lots of pyro, sparks, and fireworks. they sound just like their cd live (in a good way) i could tell what he was saying even to the songs i didnt know. the crowd was just loving them and they were having just as much fun.
side notes: theres a HUGE difference between the people who go to shows all the time and the ones who go twice a year. Not saying one is better than the other. for instance, you bump into someone and you say "excuse me"
normal concertgoeR: no reply (dirty look or eye roll)
3 doors down: "no problem!" (high five)
also, i cannot WAIT to see the White Stripes from the Orch Pit. cant wait.
