I just think it's really funny that the post is directed at Newbie's and only members posted a reply. I guess it's not we who have the problem, it's all of you who are obsessed with posting a reply to everything. I love to read the posts and just laugh, I don't feel the need to post a reply to every message. If I have something to say I will say it, like here, I'm standing up for Newbie's (which I'm not, I've been around, why don't they categorize me as Lurker?).  :D

I've noticed the number of long term lurkers we do have on the board.  I'm glad you are all out there... The geek inside me wants to turn the "who is online" feature just to get some idea how many visitors besides the regulars are on at any given time.  it would interesting to findout of the 9000+ people registered how many actually come back more than once.

outta of curiousity what brings the lurkers back to the board on a regular basis... hopefully it's not just to watch us unlurkers insult each other.

Everytime I see a non regular post, I make a point of seein when they registered.  Nice to know you are out there...

Do I need to do a Lurkers rollcall  :)

just out of curiosity, why is the "who is online" feature turned off?

dunno... wasn't my call... actually i think it's a good idea being anonomous is sometimes preferred.  i fear turning it on will cause more problems seeing as the registration goes belly up on a regular basis as it is.

that's true... although there is the option that individual lusers can exercise of hiding whether or not they're on line (those are the ones termed "creepy cyberstalkers" on Doomlink.)

I guess the lurkers would be being untrue to their name if they responded to a shout-out...

me - i believe the reason i am here, is because of addiction.  i am an addict of the nine thirty club forum.  like video games now, and comics when i was a kid, it is an addiction.

them - it's ok, mister lurker.  we like you.  you are welcome in the dark background, white centered life we all live in.

me - and because of the study.  i attempt the study.

 them - the study?

 me - yes, the study.

me:
What exactly is the treatment here going to be then?

 Dr. Brannon:
Quite simple really.  We're going to show you some films.

 me:
You mean like going to the pictures?

 Dr. Brannon:
         Something like that.

 me:
         Well that's good.
