Webster Hall, Knitting Factory NY, and Bowery Ballroom all have the same will call at the door policy because their online tickets are processed through ticketweb.com. I think that they run the same scam on Southpaw and Maxwell's customers, as well. Ticketweb used to be the class of the ticket vending circuit in NYC, but as they have taken on more of the small/independant venues, their ticketing policies have become more inflexible.
Up until a year ago, you were able to get hard tickets for these places mailed to your address at no extra cost, but I guess they have officially abandoned that policy unless you go through their individual box offices, or if you are willing to pay an outrageous fee that almost doubles the price of your ticket.
