Pork tenderloin cooked on the grill, marinated overnight in a tamari, pinapple juice, cracked red pepper, cilantro, garlic ginger concoction.

With white rice and string beans cooked in tamari, garlic and sesame oil.

 I got skills.

Some homemade chili con carne. I'm proud of myself. This is the first time that I've ever tried making chili and it turned out to be really good. Even added some beer and chocolate to the mix with lots of Jamaican Hellfire and some Scorned Woman hot sauce. Even though I let it cook on low for a nice long time to let everything mingle together, as often happens, it was even better left over.

popcorn and more popcorn, which reminds me why i dont miss working in movie theaters.

but i did get to meet a lot of indie and documentary filmmakers, see Rosario Dawson who looks beyond thin and see a film just for volunteering my time, plus got a free voucher! not too bad.

I will add that at $18 a movie Tribeca is now the most expensive film festival for individual tix and honestly I can say I'm not sure Id spend that much for most of those films.

I likes me some lentil soup!!! Haven't had it in a while though.

Last night, blackened Tuna steak, blackened dolphin, steamed veggies and redskin boiled potatoes at the Thirsty Turtle in Juno Beach.
