I can confidently tell you that fashion is a shitstorm of work, more work than almost any other profession.

Betty, I don't know much about fashion issues, but can you tell me how other professions fall into line after this one (fashion designer?) in regard to stress level, degree of responsibility, physical and performance demands and overall work hours?  I can help start you off...

 1. Fashion designer
 2. Police officer
 3. Fire rescue
 4. Teachers
 5. Social services
 6. GI...

I'm not going to try and smartass my way around that one because I honestly have no idea.  I do know, however, that many a full-time designer works a 70 hour work week.  My point was, people often underestimate the work that goes into this stuff.
