 btw does any1 know wat my chances of getting tix are with the password if im on the minute they go onsale? the 930 club is small im just wondering if there is anyway to guarantee getting tix?

Just a head's up...pre-sales usually only offer a set amount of tickets for a show, not every ticket. So if you miss the pre-sale, just be online, go to a ticket outlet or mosey over to the 9:30 Club box office to buy them.
 
 And unless you know the band, there's probably no way to ever really guarantee tickets.

I like Sonic Youth, but I doubt they will sell out as fast as Beastie Boys or Wilco, might be perfectly wrong though.

Beastie Boys was a different case since most of the tickets were being handled by WHFS.
