i am such a hipster.

if one admits this, doesn't it completely cancel out the true status of being a hipster?

 i think so.

thanks celeste.  it's easy when your best friend has lung cancer  :(

I really don't think I'm a hipster, unless hipsters are George Thorogood fans  :p  I have been "labeled" as a "faux goth"

why not gather your friends in front of the wilson building and protest dc's 21-year-old drinking age?  (Remember, as much as the FHA tries to dictate 21, states still have the discretion to set it as they choose.  Districts too, as long as the feds don't reverse it.)

either that, or get a fake ID.

And that's what'd happen.  The feds won't let us decide for ourselves on slots, they'd never let us do something nutty like change the drinking age...

why not picket in favor of the 21 drinking age...they're saving your liver from three years of abuse..but picket in favor of clubs being all ages, all the time.

Why not gather up a bunch of good friends and have some capri sun.  You can watch C-Span while you're at it and see government in action!

Why are some so adamantly against slots? It's like that in MD too.

If it's generating revenue...what's the big deal as long as it's administered properly. I think slots are no different than playing the lottery, which I don't, but for those that do....knock yourselves out!

Slots are great -- social darwinism in action.  A tax on the stupid.  I'm all in favor of them!

haha
I have no problem with the 21+ drinking age as I have someone to buy alcohol for me, as well as even if the drinking age was say, 18, I wouldn't be able to drink much anyways because my family is anti-alcohol and I'm still living with them.  but Rhett had a good idea.  it's the 21+ venues that piss me off.  I don't care at all about wearing big huge X's on my hands...put one on my forehead, if you want.  I just want to get in and see bands or hear music or see friends!  but I guess if you let a lot of non-drinkers in, you don't make as much money.  ah well.

 thirsty, you're a party animal, aren't you?
