Middle Distance Runner Roll Call
« on: February 21, 2007, 01:26:00 pm »
Okay, I'm there.  Who else is going?

Come on out and support the locals.  Seriously - its good for the club and for the city, and what else are you going to be doing this Friday night?

I'll be there.   Get there early enough for the Dance Party, they're tons of fun live.

And get there really really really early for little olde me spinning the tunes from the far away DJ booth...  I have decided to scale back the locals only theme in favor of some Friday Night Party Tunes.  in the words of Robbie "In rehab because all the Kool Kidz are doing it" Williams  "Let Me Entertain You"... in fact you may just hear that one   :D

so i had the weirdest dream about this show last night... it started of with me not being able quickly decided what tracks to spin, which i guess is the equivalent of showing up to school with out pants on.  then The Dance Party hit the stage and the crowd went nuts, at one point a bunch of guests were on stage singing bits of lyrics, and then a huge conga line developed going around the stage. and then i woke up... sorry MDR dudes TDR has more love from the subconscious..

For those interested I'll be DJing in the backbar after the show, this will be good for those you can't arrive early but still want to hear some groovy tunes.  Anyone up for a little after partying?

congrats to the lads of Middle Distance Runner and The Dance Party for pulling in at least a half capacity audience... Great show and I doubt you'll be strangers at the club in the future.

I was very pleasantly surprised at how many people they managed to pull in.  It's great to see these guys pull in such a big crowd. They're a lot of fun.
