WE (well more so my wife than me) were also wondering what this show is all about. Unfortunately, she didn't hear about it until today, in the Post Express, since she never bothers to read the 9:30 Club schedule.

Nitin Sawhney is an electronic artist, more towards the World genre. Some of his stuff is quite beautiful, but I can't imagine standing for three hours listening to it.

Ended up being a cool night.
Benefit for the new Smithsonian Sikh gallery.
Various bands played, Nitin had an artist onstage during his performance painting a picture.
Chill out fans were very appreciative.
