RICHARD ASHCROFT @ 9:30
« on: February 12, 2003, 08:59:00 am »
I heard that Richard Ashcroft is going to tour North America in April and is planning to stop by the DC area. His last show at the 9:30 was stellar. Thoughts and Opinions?

I wonder where you heard such a rumour.
Well I guess it wouldnt be a surprise. He has alredy toured UK and Europe for human conditions.
He is playing an odd date in London on 26th of March but then that seems to be it.
I for one would go, even though I am not a big fan of the new album.

While I agree with Markie about being let down with the new album, I will absolutely see him again after his last show at the 9:30. Probably my favorite show of that year.
He made me want to be a rockstar and drink lots of Stella.

When was his last show here? (Just moved to the area last summer) Was it before or after Alone with Everybody?
Also, how does his new album compare with the last one? I thought Alone... was nice but was a little let down by it; suppose I was expecting something spectacular.
