« on: January 09, 2006, 05:50:00 am »
Good times the other night. Solid good times. Solid good show. Nice mixed crowd. I approve. I respect. Anyway, here's what beamed from those magic turntables in the sky:

 AC/DC - Hell's Bells
Social D - Another State of Mind
Stiff Little Fingers - Suspect Device
 Tiger Army - Outlaw Heart
 Clash - Brand New Cadillac
 Misfits - Bullet
 Operation Ivy - Sound System
 Rancid - Old Friend
 Black Flag - TV Party
 Hippos - Forget the World
Living End - Prisoner of Society
 ----------------
Jimmy Cliff - Come Into My Life
Mike Ness - The Devil in Miss Jones
 Goldfinger - 99 Red Balloons
 -----------------
Dead Kennedy's - California Uber Alles
Dropkicks - Barroom Hero (sweeeet, we still know the words to this song)
 Toasters - Secret Agent Man
The Players Band - Smooth Sailin (aparently members of this band have been in 75% of the bands that played on the bill)
 Independents - Beer Song
 ----------------
Ordinary Boys - Little Bitch (bitchin specials cover)
 Operation Ivy - Unity
 Wilson Picket - Mustang Sally
Black on Whte Affair - Bold Soul Sister, Bold Soul Brother (apparently a Pietasters favorite, obscure seattle soul done badass. new to me too.)
Johnny Osborne & the Sensations - Bewitched
 Pennywise - Bro Hymn
 ---------------
Black on Whte Affir - Auld Lang Syne (totally finished with this tune now. the holidays are over, santa claus is dead)
Bo Jr. - Coffee Pot pt. 2
 Bo Jr. - Magic Touch
 Players Band - Wasted
 **begin heavy metal clean up**
Blue Oyster Cult - Burning For You
 etc.

Wow. All this and we STILL managed to avoid the Daycare Swindlers! Now THERE'S the mark of a job well done. Till next time, you soldiers of fortune.

 Love,
 Kara

I wonder if good ole rockin out and kicking ass (isn't that a wonderful screename? It just warms my balls.) had any inkling that Wilson Pickett was soon going to have to work his way through the fences up their in heaven?
