Don't know if this has been mentioned yet or not since I'm so far behind with things but worth mentioning regardless.
There is some kind of free show today (3/4) in DC today sometime this afternoon. There is a new store called Cusp which is putting on this show. Has anyone ever heard of this store or know anything whatsoever about it? I know very little.
Don't know how many bands are playing except that The Vandelles are one of them. The only reason I know this is because the band had gotten in touch with me to help them find a gig for last night which wasn't possible since it was very late notice and everything was already booked up in both DC and Baltimore. Not sure what time they play but they think they are supposed to go on at about 4:00PM.
Unfortunately, I'll be working and won't be able to attend which I'm very sorry about since I really like this band. If any of you can, you should try to check them out.
The Vandelles are a band I've played on my radio show in the past and are from NYC who play Shoegaze with a Surf twang. Not your standard gaze but maybe closer to what you would hear from The Ravonettes but, in my opinion, they are much better and more versatile. Honestly, I think a lot of people here would really like them so, if you can, you should try to check them out. They would be a great summer band, and hopefully, we'll get to see them more around here as the seasons warm up.
