This Saturday chiarOscuro celebrates in dark style! In addition to our regular drink special we will have unique $2.00 Spooky Shooters!

COSTUME RESTRICTION
Due to the arrangement of the Edge Nightclub we will be reserving the right to prevent extreme costume extrusions from the club for this event. We suggest you chose a costume that does not have WINGS (or similiar extrusions) as part of the necessary components. This restriction is in effect for the safety and comfort of chiarOscuro attendees. You will be welcome to check in your wings/etc at the chiarOscuro coat check located just inside the front door. Please email
voodoo@chiaroscuro-dc.com if you have any questions/concerns about this special event restriction.
With an eye to the weather we are hoping the patio will be open where we'll be spinning new wave, britpop, post punk, alternative pop, and all kinds of other great music. Hear exceptional new bands like Bloc Party, Kaiser Chiefs, Radio 4, Kasabian, The Bravery, Snow Patrol, The Killers, Franz Ferdinand and others. This is some of the best new music to come out in ages. It's catchy, it's fun, and it's very danceable! We'll be mixing it in with your favorite classics from Duran Duran, The Cure, Gang of Four, The Clash, REM, Blur, Pet Shop Boys, and New Order, to name only a few.
If it rains, we'll be in the lounge instead. Expect something similar, but more . . . loungy (lounge-esque?).
Check out The Symposium and Eclectic Lounge at chiarOscuro (hours: 11pm-2:30am) where you can relax in our comfortable couches and play cards or take in a game of chess to a more diverse musical selection at conversational volumes, home to special showcase events check the chiarOscuro calendar. Our patio opens at 11pm so that you may enjoy the fresh air and during the warmer months, a bar and manned DJ booth!
