Johnny Cash has covered NIN's "Hurt". The video is quite moving and there is a story and a link to watch the video at the following link. I agree, but his cover of Personal Jesus from the same album is crap. What's the point of a Depeche Mode song that doesn't make you want to cry, AND dance?

I think Rick Rubin picked the covers on all of Johnny's last four albums. Part of the marketing ploy to market Johnny to a younger audience. he sure has, several radio stations are playing "Hurt" already. His new album gets TONS of play at the store i work at and must say, his latest album is NOT by any means what you want a new audience to think of when they hear Johnny Cash. But believe me, its "hip" to like Johnny Cash now. (or something)

PS June wrote "Ring of Fire". Makes me laugh every time I hear Mike Ness give credit to Johnny for writing it.
