I love The Church, but am not a huge fan of The Birchmere as a place to see a gig.  It is far too downbeat, IMO.
 
 When I saw Lloyd Cole there, the room was a large group of people sitting around.  Of course, Lloyd's music can lend itself to that, but overall, there is obviously no energy at a venue like that.  
 
 P.S.  Hopefully Steve Kilbey will sing on-key at this one.  Anyone recall the 9:30 Club gig a few years ago when "Reptile" sounded surprisingly different?!

I'll be drinking coke, but you can have a pint with my guy.  unless they're like $3 for a tiny cup like at the 9:30, grr...in that case I will drink water.
 
 which brings me to the question, the Ramshead isn't 21+ is it?  damnit...I keep forgetting I'm so damn young

Technically, if there's two tits they can't be going solo...in tandem...as a duet...as a couple...but not solo.
