DC United Tickets
« on: June 05, 2007, 12:50:00 pm »
I'm taking my nephew to the game on Sunday and was wondering about what the best section, etc where to get seats.  Is there any chance of not being able to get tickets at the box office game day?  Ticketmaster only gives the option of buying the "best" tickets and I'm not sure if they are indeed that.

Best section would be on either sideline, obviously closer to the center is preferable.  Many times I find that the left side is more fun with all of the fan clubs going crazy in the front sections.

And there is no chance in hell of not being able to get tickets at the box office on game day...you can always get good ones there.

If you want to stand and be around enthusiastic fans with drums and singing sit in a section on the smaller (left) sideline.

On the other hand, if you just want a quiet, sitting experience, get tickets for the larger (right) sideline.

Behind the goal was great before the grays or whatever they call themselves moved into RFK, messed up the 18 and got rid of the best seats.

There used to be good seats behind the goal, but the Nationals moved in to RFK and they had to get rid of that section in the process of converting the stadium from exclusive football use to dual baseball/football.
