Washington, D.C.: Hey all. This is more of an "almost had plans" question. I didn't go to see System of a Down last night at the 9:30 Club because I thought $30 was too steep and was annoyed at the way they were handling this tour. My question: did anyone go? Did I wisely save my money or did I miss out on an awesome show? Thanks.
Joe: I didn't make it but have seen some good reviews on the 9:30 forum page (a reliable site for interesting discussions about music - as well as a healthy dose of back biting and in fighting). There were also some complaints that the show was too short (60 minutes) and that one of the band members was as less than enthusiastic participant. As for the price, I think $30 to see SOAD in such a relatively small venue isn't that bad.
