Nader, Ohio and Votes that Don't Count
« on: November 03, 2004, 02:44:00 am »
"In Ohio, Nader was taken off the ballot about a month ago. So, I go in to vote this morning and guess what? Nader's name is still on the ballot. So, fuck me, I voted for him - only to find out after the fact that since Nader is legally not supposed to be on the ballot, any vote for Nader doesn't get counted..."

Thats what happens when you care so little that you take the election process as a joke and toss your vote in the trash.  You lie you learn!

I'd have to disagree. Can't the people who run the voting get their shit together and not put names that won't get counted on the ballot? This could easily be interpreted as some kind of tactic to bolster Republican numbers. I think Nader should take this one to court. Those votes should count for Nader. And, I don't think he stole anything or people that voted for him threw their votes away...
