I know Candy Darling was an actor and a drag queen.  Who are Little Joe and Holly?
Little Joe is Joe Dalasandro(sp?) and starred in Trash; Candy is Candy Darling; Holly is Holly Woodlawn, another queen; Sugar Plum Fairy is some Gay Black guy; Jackie is Jackie Curtis, yet another queen and ultra speed freak. Some of these people have written books, specifically Holly Woodlawn, which I have his/her book sitting on my bookshelf.

Whatever Jag, you looked that all up online (kidding).

For a Buffet fan, you sure know your Factory stars.

Nope, that one came to me in thought.

Can't tell you much about Buffet but, yes, I do know my Factory characters. Both Factories, New York and Manchester.   ;)

Now that I think about it, there are countless people out there singing along to those lyrics with some classic rock radio station not having any idea what they mean.

What always cracks me up is how many sports news programs use the Bowie song Rebel Rebel. It's just so opposite from what you would imagine jocks to be partying out to.   :D  That's the one that I always wonder if most of the jocks have any clue as to what it's about.

Oh, and all those programs and commercials that use Iggy Pop's Lust For Life.

It's times like that when I get a big kick out of laughing at pure commercialism making asses out of the dumbed down populace. That's my twisted sense of humor for you.   ;)
