Oh, this topic is so fucking interesting.  Even more so than soccer & HFS combined.

 Hint:  If it's so big, why isn't it popular in the world's largest market?  BTW, soccer isn't the world's most popular sport.  Pokemon is.

Actually it is, it really took off in Asia after the World Cup, and thanks in part to David Beckham and his God-like status over there.

why do sports have cheerleaders exactly?  isnt the sport itself exciting enough?  or it is to fill in the void of such lengthy gaps between action sequences.  in that case, wouldnt baseball have tons of them...and wouldnt it be funny to see the pom poms go flying when someone roped one foul down the 3rd base line!  i think so. what am i talking about?
