Actually, it's Tuesday, May 30th. (May 31st is Snow Patrol.) I'm interested in seeing T-Bone.

the wallflowers were a good band.

i wonder if this will be a hot show, like when the lead singer of creed came through.

it blows my mind that singers from bands who havent had a hit in 7 years can do a solor tour and sell out venues across the nation.

We need to focus on what really matters here and thats T-Bone Burnett.  Jakob is merely a clown jumping out of a little car at this show.  Call me an elistist but one really needs to know the importance of who T-Bone is and the fact that he hasn't toured in 20 years.  I would predict the vast majority of people eagerily getting tickets to this slow will be glad when Jakob walks off stage...

I'd be one of them, but it's the same night as Pearl Jam...   :(

I think comparing Scott Stapp to Jakob Dylan is a little unfair.  I mean, until Dylan comes out with a sex tape that is.

So will this show consist of a gathering of 80 year old banjo players that haven't recorded in 30 years, and in a two hour show T-Bone will produce an album that will go on to sell 5 million copies?

I think I saw T-Bone play with his wife, Sam Phillips, a number (10? 12?) of years ago at a WXPN Festival in Philly.

Stapp didn't sell out jack. As was widely reported on here, tickets were selling for $20 for ten, and people were literally giving tickets away and taping them to the door of the club the night of the show.
