it actually went.

Mudhoney to Nirvana to Radiohead to The Music

 haha, just kidding.

It's funny, when the whole Seattle thing first started going down on my local college radio station, Mudhoney and Nirvana were the two big names. For whatever reason, Mudhoney appealed to me more, and I went down to my local record store and picked up a couple of Mudhoney 7" records, ignoring the Nirvana 7"'s. For resale value, sort of wish I had the Nirvana records instead of Mudhoney now.

I find Mudhoney unlistenable now, but I suppose I'd play it for a laugh now and then if I though of it.

What do you Mudhoney fans think of Steve Turner's solo alt-country album?

Yeah in the early days of Sub Pop I thought Mudhoney would be the band to break that whole scene.  I actually remember a conversation I had with some guy in my dorm (his name was Shark!!) in '89/'90 and I was saying how I thought Mudhoney would be the band to make it from Seattle.  He said "no...Nirvana will make it."  Shows you what I knew.  Even though at the time I much preferred the first few Mudhoney releases to Bleach, I never listen to MH any more, but do on occasion listen to something from Bleach.
