I missed his show at Iota last time because of an underwhelming Snow Patrol show. I'm definitely not missing this one.

Sounds like a cliche, but I'm a big fan of all of his earlier work (I have Thrills and Weather Systems), including playing with the Squirrel Nut Zippers, but his new album just isn't grabbing me. I think it's because it's more ordinary sounding than his other albums.

Did we ever figure out why DOSH is accompanying Andrew Bird?

I heard that Andrew Bird once lived as a threesome with the married couple from Squirrel Nut Zippers. Can anyone confirm this?

Get there early to see Head of Femur. I loved their set at CMJ. I think they are touring as the smaller 4 piece rather than the full 8-9 person band. But it should still be good. I, alas, can't make it to the show.

I used to go to school with an Andrew Bird. A bit of a wanker actually, the only real talent he had was stealing motorbikes.
