Anyone else going to the Black Cat tonight?

I'm kind of surprised this hasn't sold out yet...

I saw them at Irving Plaza Saturday night.  Loudest show ever.  Nothing against PGMG, as I thought their set list was great... good mix of new album, new romance stuff, and a few older songs.  But it sounded like they just plugged in and turned it up to 11.  Don't know if this is typical for irving plaza shows or what.
I saw mogwai at 9:30 last week.  That was very loud in a good way.  This was very loud in a very bad way.

This is one of those Mondays -- I just cannot get out to a show.  Too much for an old broad.

I can't make it tonight, but I'll be over there for Liars on Thursday.

That was a pretty good show. The sound wasn't so good at the beginning, but they eventually got that fixed. I got there late and now have missed the Joggers the last three times they've come around

And this show was definitely loud. Standing near the speaker was a bad choice...
