You should come to Baltimore for britpop night it's better than mousetrap...even though I go to both.

I have been going to Mousetrap for 3 years solid.  While the first year was the best, I still have fun there. You just have to go knowing you will hear the same music. And bring lots of friends and don't care when you get split up. (You will probably find them making out with somebody on the sidewalk out front.)

Another tip: The crowd gets much better after 12:30, when all the kiddies leave to make curfew.

I stopped going after I started feeling like if I heard "I am the Resurrection" one more time, I'd barf.    <img src="http://www.alex.to/ubb/graemlins/puke.gif" alt=" - " /> I mean, I like all the stuff they play, but they play it so much that after a while it starts to sound as dated as "classic rock."

Ditto, my group stopped going.  Not only is the music not nearly as good, the mix was awful.  I guess the glitter's gone for us.

No. It's not better. It's pretty lame actually. I'm not really into a lot of Britpoop or whatever the stuff that gets played at MouseTrap, but I had not been in awhile and guess what...it was pretty much the same stuff in the same order. Except this time I guess Mark was feeling "saucy" and played a really bad club/house mix of Blur's "Girls & Boys"
