Tribute Album
« on: November 12, 2003, 02:12:00 pm »
Here is a real time waster, compile a tribute album for your favorite band.  List the tracks and who would perform them.  I will have to think about it.

Okay.....I got one!

A TRIBUTE TO THE UK AND EIRE!
1.Land of hope and glory - The Beautiful South
2.The national anthem - Billy Bragg
3.Flower of Scotland - Mike Scott
4.Land of my fathers - Tom Jones
 5.Londonderry Aire - Dolores O'Riordan
 6.Streets of London - Madonna
7.Fog on the Tyne - Sting
8.And did those feet in ancient time - Morrissey
 9.Loch Lomond - Belle & Sebastian
 10.Coming Home - Steve Wickham
11.Dublin fair city - Shane MacGowan

I picked Braggy to sing the national anthem so hopefully the traitor will choke on it.

I also picked Madonna because she really wants to be a Brit, bless her.

Have you ever heard the Anti-Nowhere League's rendition of Streets of London?  Brilliant, especially on their "Live in Yugoslavia" record...
